Liverpool FC Women’s home games at St Helens Stadium continue to be about much more than what happens on the pitch. For a second season, supporters are backing local families by donating to St Helens Mobile Food Pantry, which will once again collect food donations outside the stadium at LFC Women home fixtures.
The Mobile Food Pantry is a community initiative that brings affordable food to communities across the borough. Using a dignified pantry model, people contribute up to £5 and choose from a range of available food, which can be worth between £15 and £20. The Pantry also works with local food banks to support people in crisis.
Following the generosity shown last season, LFC Women are continuing to welcome the Pantry to the fan zone at St Helens Stadium, where supporters can drop off non-perishable food before heading into the stadium.
For fans attending a game, continuing this support with a small donation can make a real difference. Useful items include tinned food, pasta, rice, cereals, cooking sauces, toiletries and other long-life essentials. Fans are encouraged to check the Pantry’s donation list when planning what to bring.
Ann-Marie Lawrenson from St Helens Mobile Food Pantry said:
“We’re incredibly grateful to Liverpool FC Women and their supporters for continuing to welcome us as part of matchdays at St Helens Stadium. The generosity shown throughout last season made a genuine difference, and it means so much to have that support continuing for a second season.
“Football is such an important part of our community, and every donation helps us provide affordable food and support to local people facing the rising cost of everyday essentials. If you’re coming to watch the Reds, please bring an extra item or two and help us build on the fantastic support fans have already shown. Together, we can keep making a difference across St Helens.”
With LFC Women playing the majority of their 2026/27 home fixtures at St Helens Stadium, there will be plenty of opportunities for supporters to continue their backing throughout the season.
So, before you take your seat and cheer on the Reds, look out for the St Helens Mobile Food Pantry collection point and help us keep filling the van.
Keep donating. Keep supporting your community. Keep backing the Pantry.
