Positive Action Engagement Officer (two roles) - North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Positive Action Engagement Officers to join the Inclusion and Engagement Team and support positive action recruitment work within the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

The Positive Action Engagement Officers will be supporting initiatives to improve diversity within the workforce; and will be regularly engaging with communities and groups which are currently under-represented in their workforce, and will provide support in bringing their talent, experiences, and expertise to roles within the trust.

This role is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference to local communities, is innovative and creative in engaging with diverse communities, and is passionate about inspiring people to fulfil their potential.

Main duties of the job

The Positive Action Engagement Officers will engage and build relationships with the voluntary, community and faith sector and organisations who support individuals into employment and promote the trust as an employer of choice.

The post holders will attend careers and community events, deliver workshops, careers-focused sessions, and explore innovative ways to engage local communities; offering information, advice, and guidance and signposting to individuals and groups to improve their chances of obtaining employment within the trust.
