Please find attached the application form for the next round of Our Halton funding. This is a small grants pot that the Council has put in place to support the integration of asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants living in Halton.
The focus for Round 5 is around improving community integration and cohesion and how we can collectively and actively encourage involvement for this cohort in pre-existing activities that are already taking place around Halton. They encourage providers to look at how they can use the funds to encourage this cohort to join your existing provision as well as developing services to meet the needs of the wider community.
Halton is changing we have Refugees living across Halton from several countries of origin, including, Syria, Iran, Ukraine, and Hong Kong, as well as individuals claiming Asylum from all across the globe, We also have an active migrant population who come to the UK to work and study, either as individuals or with family.
They actively encourage partnership working, collaboration between services and joint bids where possible – The funds set aside for this grant are reducing year on year and they are again looking for beneficiaries to think about the long-term sustainability of services.
The deadline for returns is 5pm on Monday 29th January 2024. Please forward returns to – Laura.Stanley@halton.gov.uk
