The Life Rooms pilot is delivered across community sites in Halton, Warrington, St Helens, and Knowsley. The pilot has a recovery and preventative focus, receiving referrals from the following key clinical teams: Early Intervention, Recovery and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment teams to provide both a social prescribing and learning offer, with the aim to provide preventative and easy-access support to Mersey Care service users.
The context
The Mid Mersey Life Rooms project has identified areas of need:
- Peer support
- Walk and talks
- befriending and social support
- mental health and wellbeing
- general health and wellbeing amongst others
There are 3 x 12 month grants up to £20k available to work with partners to create a curriculum of activity and learning.
They welcome interest from organisations who can mobilise immediately and have the appropriate governance and safety for anyone engaging in activities.
Additional commitments include monthly reports, the production of monthly contact data and attending quarterly monitoring meetings.
Qualifying criteria
If you are interested in applying and have appropriate governance and assurance policies in place, such as those listed below, then they would like to hear from you. You will have to provide these at contracting stage should your application be successful.
