Lead Chaplain Vacancy - Mission in the Economy (MitE)

Mission in the Economy (MitE) is seeking to appoint a Lead Chaplain to launch, manage and develop a multifaith chaplaincy at CSL Seqirus. The ideal person will have a passion to see something new take shape, excellent organisational skills, and have a desire to make a difference to the people that they are working with. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with vision to create and develop a robust and relevant chaplaincy structure in a busy, round-the-clock environment.

MitE is an ecumenical Christian provider of workplace chaplaincy across the Merseyside region. The chaplains come alongside people, providing a friendly listening ear to people of all faiths and none. As an independent presence in the workplace, MitE's chaplains are ideally placed to provide a confidential and safe space to enable those they meet to flourish in their work life, wellbeing and spirituality.

Derived from the expression 'securing health for all of us', CSL Seqirus has public health protection at its core. This reflects the promise of their parent company CSL, founded in 1916 to save lives and protect the health of people. Their first true test came with the Spanish Influenza Pandemic and they have been committed to the fight against influenza ever since. To learn more about CSL Seqirus please visit their website.

This post is open to both lay and ordained people. It is a genuine occupational requirement that this post is occupied by a practising Christian.

The Lead Chaplain will usually be located at the CSL Seqirus Site, Speke, Liverpool but may be required to attend elsewhere within the region.
