Runcorn Rowing Club are running a junior rowing course. Designed to get children aged 11-18 years on the water in a safe and inclusive manner. Full equipment and coaching provided including a capsize drill in a local pool. £40 for the 5 week course starting 2nd Sept 2023.

The Junior Squad has an excellent record in developing young people (11-18 Yrs) to the sport, with some successful enough to compete at international level with team Great Britain. The squad varies in ability and age and all newcomers are encouraged to join the junior training sessions.
Throughout the year, the Junior Squad competes at a number of races including:
Local head races & regattas
National Schools
National Championships
Henley Royal Regatta & Women’s Henley Royal Regatta.
The squad has a number of dedicated coaches working with the Juniors to help develop each individual and help them achieve their goals.
