Are you looking for a role in an inclusive, supportive and friendly organisation? Sefton CVS, are seeking to recruit a Volunteer Coordinator for the Include-IT Mersey Project to support the improvement of Digital Inclusion across the Liverpool City Region.
To coordinate the volunteering element of the Include-IT Mersey Digital Inclusion project, including recruitment of and support for volunteer Digital Champions, ensuring effective partnership working with the range of agencies involved.
The volunteer Digital Champion role includes: providing support to the general public at Digital Drop-In sessions; demonstrating the benefits of getting online, inspiring and encouraging people to learn IT skills, including promotion of the project’s IT training courses. A smaller number of volunteers support tutors in the delivery of Include-IT Mersey training courses.
Salary: £24,577
Location: Burlington House, Crosby Rd North, L22 0LG, or Southport Community Centre, Norwood Road, PR8 6HQ (optional) – Hybrid working arrangements are currently in place.
(Role covers the boroughs of Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens, and Wirral – frequent travel required)
Hours: Full Time – 35 hours per week
Term: Fixed term to 31st March 2025.
