Help Shape Policing in Cheshire – Volunteers Wanted

Residents across Cheshire are being invited to help shape the future of local policing by joining the Independent Ethics Panel.

Led by the Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner and Cheshire Constabulary, the panel provides an opportunity for local people to review real ethical issues in policing and offer independent insights to improve how services are delivered.

Members of the panel play an important role in ensuring transparency and accountability, with responsibilities including challenging senior leaders, sharing views on key issues, and bringing fresh perspectives from their communities.

The voluntary role involves attending up to six meetings per year, where members can contribute to discussions on topics such as policing practices, public confidence, and ethical decision-making.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about fairness, integrity, and making a positive difference in their communities.
