“An approach that supports individuals to take greater control of their own health & wellbeing. It does this by connecting people to activities, groups, & services in their community. The goal is to meet their practical, social, and emotional needs based on what is most important to them.”
Who we are
We are a group of partners working in St Helens who are developing a social prescribing network where people whose job involves the task of social prescribing can join and share resources, knowledge, gain peer support and training/development opportunities through online and face to face sessions.
Do you work or volunteer in the local St Helens Community and signpost people to access services and activities that supports individuals to take greater control of their own health & wellbeing? Then you are welcome to join the St Helens Social Prescribers Network and when you join you will also have the opportunity to sign up to come along to the next in person network event later in November.
