Halton & St Helens Voluntary & Community Action (VCA) has been announced as a partner of the 2026 Pride of St Helens Awards, celebrating the outstanding individuals, organisations and community groups that make St Helens a great place to live, work and volunteer.**
The Pride of St Helens Awards, organised by the Steve Prescott Foundation and co-founded with the St Helens Star, will bring together people from across the borough to recognise those who have made an exceptional contribution to their communities and gone above and beyond to support others.
As the main sponsor, Halton & St Helens VCA will help shine a spotlight on the incredible contribution made by the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector across St Helens and Halton.
The partnership reflects VCA's commitment to supporting and celebrating the thousands of volunteers and community organisations whose work makes a real difference to people's lives every day.

The Steve Prescott Foundation was established in memory of the late Steve Prescott MBE, whose determination, fundraising and commitment to supporting others continues to inspire people across the region.
The Foundation works to support people and communities through a range of charitable activities, while keeping Steve's legacy of courage, positivity and giving back at the heart of its work.
The partnership with Halton & St Helens VCA brings together two organisations with a shared commitment to celebrating community spirit, volunteering and the positive difference people can make.
