As you know, the people of Halton and St Helens experience wide ranging health inequalities compared to other parts of the country, and you; the voluntary sector organisations have been successfully helping local people overcome the challenges brought about by inequity for many years.
But, the last few years has seen the introduction of new challenges, the likes of which have not been seen; ranging from the impact of the cost of living crisis, reduction in statutory service provision, and the legacy of Covid-19 – all of which has led to lower than average life expectancy, and increased hardship for our community.
Funded by the National Lottery, Halton and St Helens Connected is a new project hosted by Halton & St Helens VCA. Designed to look at health inequality, and how the voluntary sector can help to address it, the project will begin with this baseline survey.
We would be very grateful if you could click the link to complete the survey – it is very short and shouldn’t take more than five minutes,

Please note: the survey will close Thursday 9th March 2023
