Are you interested in helping to shape research that reflects the needs and experiences of your community? The BRIDGE Research Network offers voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations an opportunity to connect with researchers across the North West and take part in meaningful research collaborations.
Run by Voluntary Sector North West, BRIDGE is a regional online platform that brings together community organisations and researchers, making it easier to share opportunities, build partnerships and develop research that is informed by the people and communities it aims to serve.
New Partner Pathways Now Available
BRIDGE has recently introduced Partner Pathways, designed to help members navigate the network and become involved in health and care research more easily.
The Community Partners Pathway is specifically for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations. It includes access to the evolving Research Readiness Toolkit, providing practical guidance and resources to support organisations at every stage of their research journey.
Best of all, joining BRIDGE is completely free.

Join BRIDGE Spotlights
BRIDGE is also launching BRIDGE Spotlights, a series of short live online sessions taking place every other Thursday at 12.30pm.
These informal sessions give researchers, research support teams and community organisations the opportunity to share their work, discuss current projects and explore opportunities for collaboration. Participants can submit questions through a live chat feature, and recordings are made available on the BRIDGE platform later the same day.
Upcoming sessions include:
- Thursday 8 October 2026, 12.30pm
Why should we care about research?
Future Spotlight sessions and RSVP details can be found in the Events section of the BRIDGE platform.
