The St Helens Together Food & Wider Essentials Assistance Grants has been made available as a result of a local crowdfunding campaign facilitated through St Helens Council and Halton & St Helens VCA along with an allocation of the Government Household Support Fund. The campaign was created specifically for VCFSE organisations, and education, health, and care providers to use to support people who are struggling to afford food due to increasing winter pressures along with the ongoing impact of the cost of living.

Deadline extended for submission is MONDAY 26th AUGUST 2024 - 12 noon!
PLEASE NOTE: THIS FUNDING MUST BE SPENT BEFORE 30th SEPTEMBER 2024.
The funding SHOULD:
- Be used to identify and support those most in need.
- Be used to meet immediate needs to help those who are struggling to access and/or afford food or wider essentials due to the impact of the increasing pressures of the cost of living.
- Be used in a way that supports organisations to work together rather than duplicate support that directly competes with eachother.
The funding CAN:
Be used to fund existing schemes and other support which deliver the same outcomes of support for people who are struggling to afford food and other essentials and where the need is greatest.
