Free Minibus Transport For Charities & Community Groups In St Helens

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, Former Forces Support is offering free use of a 16-seat minibus to help local charities and community groups across St Helens and the surrounding area.

The scheme aims to make it easier for community organisations to run trips, activities, and events by removing transport barriers for vulnerable or disadvantaged people. Whether it’s a one-off seaside trip, a residential retreat, or regular transport to a community activity, Former Forces Support may be able to help.

Recent examples include:

A local charity taking its members on a day trip to Llandudno
A youth organisation using the minibus for a residential retreat weekend
A sports club transporting young people to training and tournaments every evening for two weeks
The minibus is also available for self-drive hire if one of your members holds a D1 entitlement on their driving licence.

If your organisation struggles to get service users to your events, or you need reliable transport regularly, get in touch to see how we can help.

What’s included:

  • Fully insured 16-seat minibus
  • DBS-checked drivers
  • Friendly and reliable service
  • Supporting local people and organisations
