Parr Sports & Community Centre in St Helens has announced a range of exciting activities for the summer months, offering opportunities for families, children and young people to get involved in fun, free and community-focused events.
A highlight of the programme is the Station Wagon Gaming Van, which will be visiting the centre from July through to September. These free sessions will run weekly in the evenings and offer a fully equipped gaming experience, complete with a host, music, and refreshments. Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

The centre will also host the Parr Family Festival on Saturday 18 July (12pm–5pm). This community celebration will feature live music, games, food and drink, a boxing display, exotic animal encounters, and free hot dogs and popcorn, providing a fun-filled day out for all ages.
For younger children preparing to start school, the “Meet a Mate” School Ready sessions will take place on 1 and 8 July. These sessions are designed to help children build confidence, meet classmates and enjoy activities such as crafts, games and party food in a friendly environment.
