As you may know there is a significant issue with people on pre-payment meters not redeeming the vouchers they should receive under the scheme. Data published by the government suggests that more than 52,000 vouchers worth in excess of £6.6m have gone unclaimed in the city region for October and November.
These vouchers were only valid for 90 days and will need to be reissued by the relevant electricity supplier.
