Donor Engagement Coordinator - Vision Support

Vision Support is inviting applications for a new Donor Engagement Coordinator role as the charity enters an exciting period of growth ahead of its 150th anniversary. The position offers an opportunity to help shape and develop the organisation's fundraising function while supporting people living with sight loss across Cheshire, Halton and North East Wales.

The full-time role (37 hours per week) is based on a hybrid working model, with two to three days per week at Vision Support's Chester office and travel across the charity's operating area. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Fundraiser to develop donor stewardship programmes, coordinate fundraising activity and events, maintain fundraising systems and processes, and help identify new income opportunities.

Vision Support is seeking an organised and proactive individual with experience in fundraising, business development, partnerships or relationship management. Strong communication, project management and relationship-building skills, along with confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, are essential.

The charity offers a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising with service), an Employee Assistance Programme, training and development opportunities, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by sight loss.

Applications should be submitted to Kate Hurst at Vision Support: khurst@visionsupport.org.uk

The closing date for applications is 17 August 2026, although the charity reserves the right to close the vacancy early should a suitable candidate be identified.
