Cycle of Life free sessions of cycling training

5 December 2022

Update from Cycle of Life with information regarding an Active Travel project that they are running in collaboration with the Liverpool City Region.  They would love our community to be a part of this project.

This project is assisting to:

  1. break down the barriers that come with getting into cycling
  2. help in reducing climate change
  3. improving health and wellbeing
  4. and create a greener economy for all

The Liverpool City Region has fully funded this project which means they are completely FREE, the sessions consist of cycling training that is incorporated into rides for those that know how to ride or done from beginner level for those that don’t yet know how to ride. There are a few options for rides which can be seen in the flyer attached. These are done to a national standard from trained instructors, and you will be receiving confidence boosting knowledge and experience. (Bikes, helmets, and adaptations can be provided if needed)

Anyone can of course be a part of this project, as they’re not exclusive, both staff members and community or group members are free to take part!

The benefits:

  • This will help everyone involved develop an independency for travelling and a boost in their confidence and skills on a bike.
  • Long term benefits will mean increased physical health, mental health, ability to focus and an overall better lifestyle experience for everyone involved.
