We are delighted to share the fantastic news that three of our local organisations — Wonky Garden, Home-Start St Helens, and Newton-le-Willows FC — have been honoured with the King’s Award for Voluntary Service.
The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is the highest national honour awarded to voluntary groups in the UK. Often described as the MBE for volunteer groups, it recognises exceptional work carried out by volunteers who make a significant and lasting impact in their communities.
Each of these organisations has demonstrated outstanding dedication, service, and community spirit. Their work enriches local lives, strengthens community connections, and provides vital support to people across Halton, St Helens and Newton Le Willows.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all three organisations on this prestigious and well-deserved achievement. Their passion and commitment continue to inspire, and we are incredibly proud to see them receive national recognition.
