Celebrating Network For Europe’s Legacy – Apply Now For A £500 Grant

For almost 40 years, Network for Europe has played a vital role in supporting the not-for-profit sector across the North West to access and manage European funding, helping our communities to thrive.

As the organisation closes its doors, Network for Europe has chosen to leave a final legacy. Working in partnership with Voluntary Sector North West (VSNW), its remaining funds will be used to create a one-off £500 grant for a small not-for-profit organisation in our region.

The grant will celebrate and shine a spotlight on an activity that makes a difference. Something your organisation is proud of, that strengthens community cohesion, and that supports economic, cultural, or social integration.

This could mean:

• Helping people to take the next steps in improving their family or personal circumstances

• Supporting newcomers, including refugees and asylum seekers, to feel part of their community

• Encouraging people to volunteer and get involved

• Or any other activity that helps build stronger, more connected communities

The grant will be unrestricted funding, meaning you can use it in whatever way best supports your organisation and the people you work with.

Who can apply?

Organisations must be:

• Based in the North West of England

• A registered charity, social enterprise, co-op, or unincorporated voluntary/community organisation with an appropriate constitution

• Small with a turnover under £100,000 in the last financial year

• Willing to share their story with the wider VSNW membership

The deadline is 3rd November 2025, and the prize will be announced at VSNW’s AGM on 27th November
