Shine

Shine supports people of all ages with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Shine’s vision is of a society where all those whose lives are affected by spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and associated conditions are empowered and enabled through choice and equality of opportunity. Our services, offered through free membership to individuals with the conditions and their families, are literally a lifeline. We have a national network of locally based Support and Development Workers providing one-to-one advice to individuals and families, coordinating support groups for various ages and organising local information and networking events.
