“PETER STREET EXISTS TO PROVIDE A VIBRANT AND MODERN FACILITY THAT IS FIRST CHOICE FOR LOCAL PEOPLE AND SERVICE PROVIDERS.” Peter Street re-opened in May 2005 following a large refurbishment that included a new build sports hall to the rear of the original 100 years old property. Steeped in local history the former girls institute now offers a range of activities to local people from scrabble to cheerleading.  Supports “Day opportunities” respite for families with needs due to physical and/or mental illness.  Healthy living groups  U3A- various groups  Alzheimer’s and ME groups
