Mission Statement:
The Eccleston Old People’s Welfare Committee and volunteers of the Lester Drive Centre are committed to promoting and providing inclusive activities for the benefit of all of the people of Eccleston and surrounding areas with particular regard to the elderly.
To promote the general good of people of all ages by organising and implementing activities and initiatives that will embrace and enrich the education, health (both physical and mental), social, cultural and recreational needs of the local community and bring people together.
Afternoon Tea & Prize Bingo, Evening Prize Bingo, Bridge Classes - beginner, intermediate, advanced, Art group, '89 Society - general interest talks, Modern Board Games, Yoga, U3A Handchimes, Healthy Living TaiChi, Crafters, Pilates. Several Children's groups hire the hall.
