The Workers Memorial

We have provided a public access defibrillator at the statue. We are responsible for the upkeep of the statue and the defibrillator, organise and provide training courses free of charge in the use of defibrillators We provide education about the history and industrial heritage of our region Annually on the 28th April we organise a service of remembrance to commemorate the workers who have died because of their jobs
