Gorsewood Green CIC

Gorsewood Green CIC exists to strengthen and support the Murdishaw community through the Tea Tree Café, a welcoming, accessible space on Mooring Close where residents can connect, get help, and feel at home. We believe everyone deserves somewhere warm to go, an affordable meal, and a community that looks out for them. Through the café, we tackle social isolation, food poverty, support families, and provide a hub for services that residents need, from housing clinics to seasonal events. We offer a pay-itforward scheme, host work experience for young people, and involve local volunteers, because we are not just for the community, we are run by it. Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of age, background, or circumstance. Every cup of tea, every meal, every event is part of the same goal: to make Murdishaw a better place to live.
