Help Tackle Loneliness Across Halton: Support Neighbourhood Connectors' Banner Campaign

Neighbourhood Connectors CIC is calling on local businesses, charities and community organisations across Widnes and Runcorn to help raise awareness of its adult befriending service and support people experiencing loneliness and social isolation.

The organisation provides a vital befriending service for adults, connecting people with trained volunteers who offer companionship, conversation and meaningful social connection. The service helps reduce isolation and supports individuals who may otherwise have little regular contact with others.

However, one of the biggest challenges is ensuring that people who need support know the service exists, while also encouraging more volunteers to come forward.

To help spread the word, Neighbourhood Connectors is launching a community banner campaign and is asking local organisations to get involved in one of three ways:

  • πŸ’š Sponsor a banner for Β£37 to help cover the cost of a 4ft x 2ft promotional banner.
  • πŸ’š Provide a public-facing location where a banner can be displayed, either indoors or outdoors.
  • πŸ’š Offer both sponsorship and display space to maximise the campaign's reach.

Every banner displayed creates another opportunity to reach someone who may be feeling isolated, recruit a new volunteer or connect a local resident with valuable support in their community.
