Community groups and voluntary organisations across Merseyside are being encouraged to apply for funding through the High Sheriff and Merseyside Police Charitable Fund, which is now open for applications.
This year's fund will support projects that contribute to preventing and ending violence against women and girls, helping communities develop initiatives that promote safety, raise awareness, provide support, and tackle the root causes of abuse and violence.
Funding is available for organisations delivering activities and projects that align with these aims, offering an opportunity for community-led organisations to make a positive impact across Merseyside.
The fund is administered by the Community Foundation for Merseyside and reflects a shared commitment to creating safer communities and supporting those affected by violence against women and girls.
Organisations interested in applying are encouraged to review the guidance and eligibility criteria as soon as possible.
