AI for Good Programme Seeks Liverpool City Region Entrepreneurs

Do you have first-hand experience of a local problem and an idea that could help solve it? AI for Good is a new free programme designed to support aspiring entrepreneurs across the Liverpool City Region to develop innovative businesses that tackle real challenges in their communities.

Delivered by the University of Liverpool's Virtual Engineering Centre, Public Life and the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, the programme will support ten entrepreneurs with access to AI expertise, practical coaching, a dedicated business advisor, training opportunities and real-world testing of their ideas. No previous AI experience is required, and participants retain full ownership of everything they create.

The programme is open to people with ventures that are pre-registered, pre-trading or have been trading for less than 24 months. Eligible projects must be based in and serve the Liverpool City Region and focus on areas including transport and destinations, health and social care, education and skills, or social mobility.

The programme will run in Liverpool from November 2026 to March 2027 and offers a unique opportunity to combine social impact with cutting-edge innovation. Applications close on Sunday 1 November 2026.
