Faith in the City 40th Anniversary: Community Conversation in Halton

People from across Halton and the wider Liverpool City Region are invited to come together for a special community conversation as part of the Faith in the City 40th Anniversary Programme.

Taking place on Thursday 15 October 2026 at Bethesda Church, Palacefields, this interactive 90-minute workshop will provide an opportunity to reflect, listen and build hope together. Bringing together community leaders, faith groups, local organisations and residents, the session will explore the shared responsibility of churches and communities in creating stronger, more connected and flourishing neighbourhoods.

The event will consider what the priorities of the Manifesto for Hope could mean locally, examining both the challenges and opportunities facing our communities and how we can work together to address them. Through open discussion and shared experiences, participants will be encouraged to explore themes including connection, justice, shared values and community life.

Whether you lead a community initiative, represent a church or faith group, or work within the local community, this welcoming session offers a chance to contribute your perspective and help shape positive change across the borough.
