Established in November 2020 the aim of the Alliance is to bring together representatives of local VCFSE, The Council and Health with a remit to influence and/or deliver initiatives that tackles hunger and food insecurity in St Helens through sharing knowledge and good practice, pooling of resources, forging links and identifying opportunities to develop provision to avoid duplication and target available resources to meet the needs of the communities they represent.
If your organisation would like to be part if this then please get in touch with Ann-Marie Lawrenson at: alawrenson@haltonsthelensvca.org.uk
As part of this piece of work we have available some small grant funding to support under the Emergency Assistance Grants which aims to support organisations in meeting the needs of their identified vulnerable communities in accessing emergency food supplies and other essential costs all of which can be found in detail in the guidance.
Please see the attached Application Form with the Guidance notes for more details.
