Neighbourhood Planning sessions

Halton – where you live, work and volunteer!

Do you want to shape the future of your estate? Do you want to be somebody who has a say over where new homes and shops are built and how they look? Do you want to protect your favourite local places and green spaces or ensure there are enough new homes for young families?

Then join us for some Neighbourhood Planning learning sessions.

Neighbourhood planning allows local communities to play a much stronger role in the shaping of their area. The Neighbourhood Plan will listen to the wants and needs of the people of the area and put them together into a proposal that the whole community can have a say in before submitting that plan to the Council.

For the first time, you can create a plan for and by your community that carries real legal weight with Council planning, and allows you to shape their policies and priorities
