Merseyside Youth Association Limited in partnership with Mersey Care are seeking to recruit an Employment Mentor.

Salary: £23,679 p.a - (JNC Pt. 13)

Hours: 35 Per Week

(May Include Some Evening and Weekend Work)

Fixed Term Funded for 12 Months from Start of Project

The successful candidates will be required to support Health Education Englands Investment in entry level Vocational Learning Developments to assist the pipeline of employment within NHS Trusts. The postholder will deliver effective personalised pathway to employment for young people and adults  who are not in education, training or work.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised qualification to at least an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject. They will also have substantive experience of 1-1 mentoring, as well as groupwork delivery, caseload management, supporting people into meaningful progressions, together with post employment support.  The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in ensuring individual and project targets are met.
