Job Title – Reflective Practice Facilitator

  • Organisation: Changing Lives
  • Salary : £11,000
  • Hours: 15 hours per week   
  • This is a regional role, covering services in Yorkshire, Doncaster, Wolverhampton, Merseyside, Blackburn and Nottingham.   They are flexible in terms of where the role is based.  
  • Their Central Office is in the North East, and occasional travel here would be required (anticipated one day every 2 months)
  • Closing Date: Friday 2nd December

Brief Description:   

Changing Lives is moving towards creating Psychologically Informed Environments and embedding Trauma Informed practice across all of the services, a key part of which is supporting staff to improve practice and increase their own wellbeing through developing reflective practice.

Reflective practice can help us understand our own intentions, values and visions and support us to work in a challenging field where power relations may be decidedly unequal, and where we may be working in emotionally demanding environments.

The role will help people understand what reflective practice means and what the benefits are, and will support practice development by providing regular reflective practice sessions to staff across the organisation to assist them in their work with vulnerable people. The Reflective Practice Facilitator will also assist in the delivery of self-care and boundaries training.

The Reflective Practice Facilitator reports to the HR Director.  Supervision is provided by an Area Manager with a qualification in counselling.
