Healthwatch Halton - Long Term Conditions survey

Long Term Conditions (a health problem that can’t be cured but can be controlled by medication or other therapies) account for 50% of all GP appointments, 70% of days spent in hospital beds and 70% of the money spent on health and social care in England

Healthwatch Halton have been hearing that people with long-term, complex conditions are often seen by a series of specialists, who each look at and sometimes manage the complication in one part of the body, but rarely is all this information put and discussed together.

Healthwatch Halton need your help to get a picture of how people, of all ages, with long-term and/or complex conditions in Halton feel about the services they receive. They have just launched a survey to find out what works well now and what people would like to improve about the management of their condition.

To take part in a short online survey on living with Long Term Conditions please click the link below. If you would rather complete a paper copy of the survey please contact Healthwatch Halton on 0300 777 6543.
