Funded Support Courses

The Women’s Organisation and Enterprise Hub Skills have some exciting online events coming up to support residents within the Liverpool City Region thinking about self-employment or looking to upskill and develop in their existing business.

All events are free to attend and take place via Zoom; as they are funded by the European Social Fund, these courses do require proof of right to work in the UK. If anyone has any questions, they can be contacted on hello@thewo.org.uk

Enterprise Hub Skills ‘Stepping into Management’

Monday 10th & Tuesday 11th August

Each session is scheduled 10.30 -12.00.

This session will cover:

• Introduction to leadership and management

• Managing yourself

• Managing others

Eligibility

  • Women living within the Liverpool City Region

To reserve a place on the course you will need to:

• Complete a registration form

• Provide proof (photo or scan) of your eligibility to work in the UK (passport, birth certificate of NI Card for example)

Enterprise Hub Skills ‘Be Resilient – Managing in a Crisis’

Thursday 20th & Friday 21st August.

Each session is scheduled 10.30 -12.00.

This session will help people to:

  • Recognise the qualities of a resilient person
  • Identify which of these qualities you have already
  • Work on developing the additional qualities you need
  • Implement strategies to boost and maintain your resilience

• Provide proof (photo or scan) of your eligibility to work in the UK (passport, birth certificate of NI Card for example)
