Floating Support Worker - Halton

Shap is a highly regarded, innovative, practical and financially viable charity and voluntary organisation that works to sustain communities, reduce homelessness, increase the health and wellbeing of vulnerable adults and young people and improve the life chances of the next generation.

They are looking for a Support Worker who will provide high quality housing related support, guidance & advice to vulnerable people (and sometimes their children), enabling them to resettle and/or sustain their tenancy. Assisting people to claim benefits & support with budgeting & debt management. It’s a challenging role but one that brings lots of rewards, seeing people flourish with the support that you provide to them and knowing that you’ve made a difference.

Location: Halton
Salary: £20,510 - £21,590 (incl. an additional salary allowance pertinent to the scheme)
Hours: 36 hours per week
