Furlough Go

To ensure their sustainability many charities have had to furlough skilled and experienced staff meaning they are not able to do any work for their employer. This new service understands that many of these staff would like to quickly find opportunities elsewhere to support other charities potentially struggling, both in responding to the current crisis, and in ensuring their own success and sustainability. Furlough Go has been set up to enable charities and community groups to connect with and involve these skilled and experienced furloughed staff as volunteers.

How will it work?
They’re building a network of Furloughed charity staff, who want to support other organisations at this challenging time. They are working with the voluntary and community sector, as well as adult social care, public health and the NHS to support and mobilise volunteers to where there is the greatest need.

What will happen next?
Along with our voluntary sector partners, they will use this information to coordinate your offers of support.

We Want To Hear From You - Coronavirus (COVID-19): How Has Your Group, Organisation Or Service Responded?

We are asking that if you are delivering services and interventions in direct response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic then we would welcome you to share your data on a weekly basis so we can bring it all together to demonstrate the work of the sector to our local partners and decision makers.

For organisations which choose to contribute we will also provide you each week with your own infographic which you can share with your beneficiaries, volunteers and funders.  This survey is made up of tick-box questions, and the occasional free text question. The survey should take 10 minutes to complete each week.
