Charity Retail Association Have Published Their Reopening Pack

Version 3 of the Reopening Pack is available for download. The pack consists of helpful guidance for when we are given the green light to open up shops, and provides some suggestions of things to think about in the meantime. Please check the draft and upload date/time, as they are updating the pack as and when Government advice becomes available.

National Emergencies Trust encourages Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic organisations to apply for funding

The National Emergencies Trust (NET) is encouraging charities and groups who serve the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities to apply for funds.  Research shows that people of BAME background are at significantly increased risk of coronavirus.  The central aim of the NET is to distribute funds as quickly as possible to help those in urgent need, which is why it wants to encourage applications from charities that are supporting hard hit BAME communities.  The NET has partnered with UK Community Foundations to distribute the funds from its Coronavirus Appeal. Already the NET has supported thousands of charities and it knows that through identifying where the need is most and providing support, the funding can transform lives.  If you are part of a BAME organisation based anywhere in the United Kingdom and are looking for funding to provide relief for those in need, please find your local Community Foundation here.

We Want To Hear From You - Coronavirus (COVID-19): How Has Your Group, Organisation Or Service Responded?

We are asking that if you are delivering services and interventions in direct response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic then we would welcome you to share your data on a weekly basis so we can bring it all together to demonstrate the work of the sector to our local partners and decision makers.

For organisations which choose to contribute we will also provide you each week with your own infographic which you can share with your beneficiaries, volunteers and funders.  This survey is made up of tick-box questions, and the occasional free text question. The survey should take 10 minutes to complete each week.
