The third funding round of the UKSPF-funded Digital Connectivity for Community Facilities grants programme, closes this Friday 15th December at 5pm.

A total of £297,500 is available in this round.

FF Community Transport aim is to provide affordable and user-friendly transportation solutions to other charities, schools, and community groups. The organisation's minibus is available to these groups to facilitate access to vital community services that promote social inclusion, community activity, education, well-being, and mental health recovery. The organisation ensures that all its drivers undergo DBS checks and hold all necessary licenses.

A new funding scheme will soon be opening to help voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in England improve their energy efficiency. The VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme is part of a package of over £100 million of support being delivered by the Government to help frontline delivery organisations with the increased cost of living.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund in the North of England are currently recruiting for two new committee members to join their committee. They are particularly interested in recruiting people who live in the North

Patients across Cheshire and Merseyside are being asked to plan ahead this Christmas by checking their regular medications and ordering any repeat prescriptions they might need early - using the NHS App.

The NHS is advising that any repeat prescriptions should be ordered by Friday 15th December to guarantee that they are available in time for the Christmas holiday period.

Using the NHS App to order regular medications is the quickest and easiest way to order a repeat prescription – and doing it online yourself also puts you in better control of your own health.

You can order your medication at a time that’s convenient for you, and select which pharmacy you would like your medication to be sent to.
