About ‘Fresh Beginnings’ Cookery The passion and drive behind Fresh Beginnings is Barbara Freeman, with over 20 years’ experience in hotel, restaurant and education catering and a love of good food. With some simple tools and improved understanding of ingredients, cooking on a budget through to beautiful menus, we can help you to cook well and eat better. A Board of Volunteer Directors governs Fresh Beginnings (CHESHIRE) CIC. They have capacity for two additional Director. You will join the existing Board of Directors to support and empower individuals within the community. This role will primarily focus on marketing, promotions, and applying for funding to enhance the organisations reach and impact. The Board currently meets six times per year. Meetings are a combination of online and in person, however, generally in person. Meetings generally last around two hours and Directors are also expected to allow time to read the Board papers, usually circulated one week before the meeting. The overall time commitment may vary according to areas of interest of individual Directors.
The work is generally carried out in Runcorn, Warrington and Northwich areas.
