National Lottery Community Fund: Funding Officer – North West (6 Month Fixed Term Contract) Vacancy

Grants Fund for Small VCSE Mental Health Providers

Association of Mental Health Providers is pleased to announce the launch of the second round of a small grants fund on Monday 26 July. This fund will be used to provide grants of up to £5,000 to support the sustainability of mental health voluntary, community and social enterprise provider organisations, with a turnover of £0-250k. VCSE mental health organisations have a vital role working in the community providing support to anyone who has a mental health need but continues to face many challenges in delivering services during COVID-19, intensified by the lockdowns and varying tier systems. It is vital that service providers working in the community are supported to enable them to continue delivering essential, life-saving services to people who need it most so it can be effective and sustainable during and after the pandemic...

Community Ownership Fund

As more restrictions are being lifted and we are trying to get back to some kind of normal, the Halton Health Improvement Team realise you may be seeing an increase in people looking for support or that your staff themselves need support. Saints Community Development Foundation Women In League programme is about to be fully launched. The Women's Wellness sessions are particuarly exciting and hopefully you will know people who would benefit from them. The sessions run on a Tuesday and a Thursday. The Shine On Course

The Shine On Course is a brand new, totally free supportive service from Sam's Diamonds providing women with all the guidance and advice needed to confidently return to work after a cancer diagnosis. The course is open to any women in the Halton area who have been through cancer treatment and need an extra boost when it comes to rebuilding their confidence to  return to work. It is a six week course run at their head office in Widnes. Each week will be focused on a different topic and include multiple sessions from industry professionals...


Halton OPEN Breakfast Club

Weekly get together at Wetherspoons Ferry Boat, Runcorn. Why not join Halton Open each Monday for a breakfast or drink of coffee or tea at Wetherspoons Ferry Boat Tavern.  Tea and coffee costs only 99p and breakfast are a very reasonable price. Groups will all be seated at 4 or 6 seated tables and will remain as safe as possible, however there will be chatting and enjoying each others company...
