No symptoms COVID-19 testing (SMART) – Could your VCFSE organisation be involved?

Halton Borough Council and colleagues from the local NHS are about to launch a Covid 19 SMART Testing project.  Organising two SMART Test Centres with very little notice will not be an easy endeavour. As such, Halton Borough Council want to know if your VCFSE organisation could play a role? Could your staff team stop doing their normal roles in order to support the Test Centres for one day? You would be fully reimbursed for your staff’s time and they would receive appropriate training and PPE. They wouldn’t be involved in the actual testing itself, instead they’d be helping residents to register, managing the queues & car parks and providing information for people as they leave the site.
