Volunteer Chaplain (Multifaith) with Merseyside Police

Victims Services Survey - Cheshire PCC

The Police and Crime Commissioner is responsible for funding local support services for victims of crime.  They are currently undertaking a Victim Needs Assessment which forms a review of existing services available to victims, highlights good practice and identifies gaps and areas where improvements could be made.  This will determine the types of services they fund in the future to ensure services offered meet the needs of the community. They are aware there are lots of victims of crime who do not report to the police and they are keen to hear what support they need and what would encourage them to access this support in the future and have 2 ways in which you can help...


Coalfields Food Insecurity Response Fund

The Coalfields Food Insecurity Response Fund is a new fund to tackle food poverty. They have seen a significant rise over recent years in the coalfields of the number of projects providing food to those who cannot afford it. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated this problem with more people being referred to food banks, and tens of thousands of children skipping meals due to family income being too low. Projects can apply for up to £2,500 and if successful, will be granted a Company Shop membership to maximise their purchasing power...
