We would like to welcome and introduce our new member of staff: Cole Toward.  Cole has taken on the role of Tontine House receptionist.  This is Cole’s first role in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector, he is looking forward to learning about the sector and our partner/member organisations.  He is the first point of contact for VCA and ensures that all telephone calls and also all visitors to the St Helens office, are directed to the correct project of the VCA team.

Halton & St Helens VCA Is Taking Part In A Major New Survey Of The Voluntary Sector – And We Need Your Help

We’d like you to take part in a major new survey of the voluntary sector in Merseyside and the rest of Northern England.  Its purpose is to get a good understanding of the general wellbeing and mood of the sector and to see how it is preparing for the future in a period of significant social and economic change. The survey is being undertaken by the University of Durham, and is funded by IPPR and Garfield Weston Foundation. The survey only takes 15 minutes to complete and you won't need to check up any facts and figures to do it - hopefully you'll find it quite interesting too.  Whether you are a large or small organisation or group, whether you are thriving, struggling or going along as normal we need you need to complete the survey so that a comprehensive picture can be built on how the voluntary sector is faring in Halton, St Helens and the North West area's more widely...
