Modern Slavery Case Worker x 2 – Halton Area
SALARY: £26,403 per annum
HOURS: 2x 37.5 hours per week
1x 12.5 hours per week, SALARY: £26,403 per annum, pro rata for part-time, £8,801

Ranked by Best Companies as the 8th best charity to work for in the UK, they support survivors of modern slavery who have been abused and exploited, by implementing individualised plans and strategies to enable them to transform their lives. The service in the Halton area is a male safe house. It is one of nine safe houses across England providing shelter and support to over 100 modern slavery survivors every night.


They are seeking a confident and experienced Modern Slavery Case Worker with a wide range of skills and importantly, a ‘can do’ approach. As the Modern Slavery Case Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to potential victims of modern slavery in the service, where applicable in a given geographic area. You will undertake daily duties to ensure the smooth running of the service. The role will involve assisting clients with increasing practical skills and self-confidence to empower and enable independent and safe living.


This service may be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly. You must have experience of working with vulnerable adults, the ability to work within a ‘risk associated’ environment and ideally experience of working within a residential or community setting and with non-UK citizens.
