Vision Support supports people with sight loss to live a life that is fulfilling and seeks to build people’s confidence to become and maintain their independence. We are seeking to recruit a Home Visitor for people with sight loss. The post will be based from the Chester office with some home working. The role requires travel throughout an agreed geographical area within Cheshire West, providing practical help and support to enable individuals to live independently.
People with sight loss can experience isolation and loneliness. Home Visitors are available to visit people in their own home, seeking to provide companionship and signposting to Vision Support’s other services as well as other provision in their local areas.
They are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and enjoys meeting people. Previous experience is not necessary, all they ask is that you have good values and a willingness to learn and attend training
