A FREE 2 hour online awareness session that will help anyone thinking about or has just set up a community business. From what legal structures are available and what you need to think about when managing buildings or other assets.

Halton & St Helens VCA have teamed up with Locality to bring you this free 2 hour awareness session that will be facilitated on line. The session will benefit anyone wanting to explore what you will need to consider when setting up and managing a community business.

Anyone attending will hear about what do we mean by community business along with showcasing a number of local and regional examples. You will have an introduction as to what legal structures are available and the benefits and draw backs to each of them.

Further more, anyone attending will find out what you will need to consider when owning or managing an asset such as a building or land to deliver your community business.

Anyone attending will hear from facilitators with over 20 years experience each in working with community organisations and social enterprises.
