Equality, Diversity and Basic Human Rights Awareness

This awareness session will give participants an opportunity to explore issues surrounding equality, diversity and basic human rights in society and the workplace.

Facilitated by our fully qualified trainer and performance coach Annie Lawrenson particpants who attend will be able to explore what we mean by Equality, Diversity and Basic Human Rights along with being able to recognise common misconceptions, assumptions and discrimination.

During the day participants will identify key terminology and concepts used in equality ledgislation along with being given an whistle stop tour of some of the key legislation included in the Equality Act 2010.

To conclude the day participants will have an opportunity to identify practical ways they can embed equality and diversity in to our everyday lives.

A certificate of attendance will be provided for all delegates.

PLEASE NOTE: attending this session can be used as evidence for achieving Criteria 7.7 of the STAR Standard Quality Award
