Developing your story to secure funding
FREE workshops for community organisations in HALTON and ST HELENS - Delivered by Miranda Clarke from Coalfields Regeneration Trust, a funder and support charity, this will build on the morning workshop session session to:
Consider what stories and information funders and commissioners are looking for when they allocate resources
Reflect on examples of good practice and build your own story to share with funders
Look at the specifics of applications and work through some of the requirements together
This session is about building confidence and sharing ideas. Content will be practical and discussion based to ensure that everyone gets something useful, and can also plan their next steps. You are welcome to bring along funding applications you are working on and there will be time for 1-1 discussions during lunch or after the second session.
You can join one or both of the sessions (this one and Telling your story with impact - being delivered on the same day but earlier in the morning) and all are welcome to join us for lunch and meet other colleagues in our sector. - If you wish to join us for lunch this will be taking place 12.15pm - 1pm.
