On Thursday 7th April we are bringing all individuals (volunteers and staff) who are responsible for volunteers in their role for a Volunteer Co-ordinators Network Meeting.
On the agenda will be:
10.00am Welcome and introductions
10.10am Round robin on where we all are – what’s new
10. 25am What are the benefits and challenges about working with volunteers?
10.40am Planning future meetings, what topics do you want us to cover
10.50am Comfort break
11.05am Volunteer expenses – how is the increasing cost of fuel affecting your volunteers and services?
11.15am Tessa Willow, Volunteering and Employment Project Manager, who will talk about a new project for people to gain experience through volunteering to improve their chances of moving into paid work.
11.35am Volunteers week and the Queens celebration – any plans yet?
11.45am Q & A for sharing ideas answering any questions
12 55pm Recap and date for next meeting
